So Branson back in December fell playing basketball and injured his elbow. We went to the Doctors and took an x-ray. They thought that he may have a hairline fracture but were unsure. The Dr. told us if it still hurt him to call and they would take another x-ray. The pain went away but his elbow just wasn't the same. They did say that on the x-ray it looked like he had some fluid so we just chalked it up to that. Well 4 1/2 mos later he still was having issues-he wasn't having full movement in his elbow (couldn't straighten it all the way) and pain every now and then. Now during these 4 1/2 months he has been playing baseball and basketball- pretty much Mon thru Sat if he didn't have games he was at practice- Using that arm alot. So we took him to an orthopedic they took another x-ray- there was a hairline fracture but it had healed up nicely. So he ordered up an MRI- Well on the MRI they found that he had and Saltar harris level 4 fracture- So they rate them 1-6 and he has a four through his radial head. It is rated a number 4 because the fracture goes through 3 growth plates- the cartilidge in the area is thinning and had some fluid in his joint. It is not healing ):- Do you think it has not been healing because of his active use of that arm?? HELLO who are is parents ? haha So let me tell you I have been feeling HORRIBLE about it! We are waiting to see if he needs surgery or not- Hopefully NOT. So we have cancelled all sports till we can get that arm healed. I guess he is one tough kid!
Kennedy tried out for Ballroom at Timpview she made JV! She is way excited. There is a freshman team which is what she will be next year and JV then Varsity- Varsity she can't do until 10th grade. So we are very Proud of her that she made JV. She is running this week for student body office. She said that she is just running for secretary because she had alot on her plate next year and didn't want to stress out. She is an A student and will be taking a few AP classes next shool year. She is a very motivate young lady! Someitmes I ask myself -is she my child? HELLO
Presli is just as busy as ever and into alot of mischeif I guess I shouldn't say mischeif but rather she is FULL OF LIFE. I signed her up for Preschool and she gave me a big hug and said THANK YOU Mom do I go tomorrow? I took her to the park the other day she came running to the kids and said "Hey Kids I am here" needless to say she didn't know the kids. I told her I would sign her up for swim lessons so that night she said in her prayers- please let me be a good swimmer. I just love her to pieces- as I do all three of my kids. So blessed to have them!
